Love the app and the speakers. Great product!

Look, I know were moving to streaming, but many music freaks investing in audiophile-level speakers (which these are) also have huge iTunes libraries and playlists that they are proud of and love. I think a lot of potential customers dont realize you CANT access your iTunes computer library directly with this system. PLEASE Denon (and Apple) create a fix for this MAJOR PROBLEM.

I love this app. I use it for almost every occasion!

Found out that songs purchased on iTunes from2003-2008 are protected and requires some timely work arounds to get them to play. Also I get a lot of unable to play "crashes" when I try to play a genre on a speaker. Getting frustrated to say the least.

Love the app when it works but unfortunately it is really hit or miss. If they could ever work out the bugs it would be great. I frequently need to power off /on my phone to get the app to connect.

Overall pleased and would recommend in a heartbeat. Multiple speakers are expensive. It would be nice to see a bundle deal since that is their finest quality (no lag sound to multiple speakers). I wish I could use the speakers with a tv and create more authentic surrender sound... The speakers added tend to create significant lag. For the app I am frustrated the number of times the pandora station will skip to a new song mid stream. Nothing changes on my end, but suddenly were on a new song. I have issues with the sound bar sometimes losing connection with the tv it is supplying audio for... Tends to come back on its own after 20 seconds or so. I really wish Heos would create an easier way for me to access my computers song library. I wold also love to see an easier way to make shufflable playlists.

In short, if you have a different Wi-Fi zones, do not buy this product. If you store your music and playlists in iTunes or on a computer, do not buy this product. If you want ease of use or consistent music, do not buy this product. Donovan needs to hire some developers and fix this app. Ive wasted $1200 and countless hours trying to salvage this.

Love the control of the music, the content on the App is good as well. Needs further refinement as the app doesnt perform as expected. Also, I dont like restricting to one country. Ive lived in two and can only listen to 50% of my music.

I have the HEOS 7,5,3and Denon amplifier. They sound great! I enjoy the rich sound and the ability to listen to different channels of music throughout my home. Great product.

I love our sound bar set, but the app leaves a lot to be desired. The current version will not even update with which song is playing on iheartradio. The only way I can see it is to force close the app and reopen. Please fix the app so its as awesome as the speakers.

Unfortunately it doesnt work every time. Very frustrating. Cant ungroup rooms, cant adjust volume. Also I wish I could access the songs I have purchased from Amazon. I can access them From the Amazon app on my phone, but not from the Amazon button in Heos. I use my little blue tooth speaker and phone more often

I held off getting a wireless music system for my home until I visited a high end audio store in Seattle. I discovered there are systems out there that would meet my budget and my listening requirements. I have the HEOS 5 and two 1s in the house. They are fantastic. Nice looking, great sound, and nice iOS app, makes it fun to play. iheart radio doesnt work but all else works well. Seems like more and more bugs are worked out with every release. There website has lots of reviews and news releases, I think its worth a read to see that they are getting serious about there HEOS line. Thanks Denon!

I love the quality of the sound. Much more musical than sonos. Doesnt get harsh after 4 hours of music..But oftentimes the app says it cant play from.Pandora..That is annoying- sometimes I just want 1press music. Often that needs 5 presses. But I know that it will get fixed.. Pls add a wake up alarm???!!! My heos 5 fills the room. Got the denon link too.

Please Denon take a look at how slick the sonos app is and make yours similar. I love the sound quality of the heos speakers compared to the sonos but the app is so bad Im thinking about selling it all and switching to sonos.

Until AirPlay is available I cannot recommend my heos system. It makes using my playlists so much harder. Great quality of speaker but wouldnt buy it again. App is fine tho.

What is wrong with this system? Why so many problems

App hangs up on second use. I have to uninstall the reinstall to use. When it works, it works well.

Update to my review... I unplugged each speaker and plugged them back in. I havent had any problems since then. Its probably a coincidence, but its worth a try. Previous review... Updated to the new app hoping it would solve some of the glitches. Unfortunately, my speakers drop frequently and my heos amplifier isnt even recognized. Not good.

Big improvement to the app. Like the better access to master volume and individual volume when the speakers are synced together. Sound is amazing...

I was getting worried that Denon may be giving up on the Heos line since app development has been slow. But the new Heos products and new app updates give me optimism since Im heavily invested in the ecosystem. The app interface, while updated, needs to be improved in terms of workflow. Its not as simple as,other apps. Finally, Denon needs to support AirPlay and Apple Music.
