Of course the sound is incredible. The app is user friendly but does have some glitches from time to time. Overall, I like it.

Very bi polar, some days it works, some days not so much. Would be great if you could play optical audio in a group.

Seems to work when it feels like it. Streaming from Spotify or Amazon work consistently. Streaming from "iPhone" works about 10% of the time. Thankfully best buy has a 15 day return policy.

This app is so annoying!! It takes forever to load or opens up in the initial set up screen constantly. Whenever a song is playing and i skip it the screen does not update to reflect the new song that is playing.. I constantly have to close and reopen the app in hopes that it will update the screen

This app is ruining the heos experience for me. I have four heos speakers. When I use Spotify everything works well because the heos app isnt used. If I want to use Pandora its a mess because the heos app must be used. I will start a pandora station. Two minutes later the speaker disappears and cant be controlled. Its a never ending cycle. Force closing the app and turning airplane mode on/off usually fixes it. Its ridiculous. I cannot recommend any heos products unless you are using Spotify.

Vastly improved! The early apps rarely work and were very unreliable. Spent most of my time with tech support. As a matter of fact, it was so bad I even returned my speaker thinking it was defective. I guess enough complaints were register, because now it always works, even when I disconnect the speaker and moved it. Thank you Denon for making it right! I almost was going to give snd return the system. Since the up grades, I am glad I didnt.

When I can connect to the Heos, the sound quality is great. But the Heos iOS software is very unreliable. After the last update I can no longer connect nor can I finish setup (says it could not find the network). Worse yet is that because I cannot connect, I cant even tell it to use the Aux input, so its just a big paperweight on my desk.

This apps requirement that it be connected to wifi to work is extremely frustrating. I bought a speaker on which to play my music but this app seems more intent on selling me music subscriptions than on playing my music. I have never used this Heos app / speaker without cursing. What a nightmare. Even playing music when connected via auxiliary in is a chore and a hassle. Not user friendly at all.

Got this first for my parents to replace previous whole home audio system. They love it works great sounds great. Functionality is light years ahead of expensive wired systems. Purchased a system for myself as well to follow. App has a lot of features but after a week or two of using it even my dad is a pro! Tried the sonos as well. The capabilities and quality of this system are far superior. Get it! Its worth the slight learning curve.

And absolutely no help or information on why theres no support and whether there will be support. Otherwise its not bad, Ux is clunky but works

No option to use Google play or regular Spotify. Why wont this work with whatever I want to play in my phone?? I was hoping this amp/speaker would work the same as my old Bose Bluetooth but it doesnt.

Totally amazing technology easy to setup. Easy to use and the sound quality is on par if not better than the market leader. I really love the diverse connection options and the ability to trigger the receiver with remote connections really impressed. Good job denon.

Pretty primitive, laggy, crashes constantly. Skips songs, displaying "unable to play". UI is nice. Speakers are great but app is no good.

I use the heos 7 and When i update the new software today and i really want to listen 24/192 flac files but still does not work it always says unsported files. Please solve the problem asap.but not only heos amp and link can play????? If yes this is too bad and I dont want to belive that!!!!!!!!!!! I hope solve the problem and i can play 24/192 files with my heos 7. Regards, Varujan Ozbag

- Support for more services, eg. YouTube - iPad Air 2 sometimes you can not move (forward and backward) the file being played, you must play from beginning to end (playing with the iPad Air2, Podcast and sometimes USB)

problems with spotify servers connections and buffering. Why not to add airplay source from PC or yt? Poor tidal support. Difficulty to create own playlist

After we installed a Heos Drive amp in an office I realized the is no password option. Anyone can define music and volume in bosss room or wherever other place. Thats very annoying and no good for any business environment. As far as I can see the latest update didnt fix it.

I am quite unhappy with the Heos products: for me it is not easy to use, not intuitive, it seems to me quite slow as well. To me the use of blutooth is unpredictable on Windows and I have never succeeded in getting speakers connected to Mac OS. On the positive, it works with any DLNA server and has a powerful sound, although a bit too bass-y.
